Frequently Asked Questions

What is Site & Capital?

Site & Capital is a platform designed to make the property development industry easier to navigate.

It brings together developers, investors, deal originators and professional teams in one place, with structured profiles that clearly show each company’s focus, geography and project experience.

By making this information easy to explore and compare, Site & Capital helps people discover opportunities and partners beyond the networks they already know.

How do I join?

You can join by submitting your details through the Join page.

Any organisation operating within the listed sectors can create a profile. Each submission is reviewed to ensure profiles are structured consistently and the platform remains clear and easy to navigate.

Once approved, you’ll receive instructions to complete your profile.

What does membership include?

Membership includes:

• A structured company profile outlining your role, focus and typical projects

• Visibility within the relevant sector category

• Clear contact details for direct outreach

• Placement alongside other organisations active in the development ecosystem

Profiles are designed to make it easy for others to quickly understand where your expertise fits within the development process.

What is the Founding phase?

Site & Capital is launching with a Founding Cohort — an initial group shaping the tone, standards and structure of the directory.

Founding members:

  • Are positioned from the outset within the core network
  • Help define how their sector is represented
  • Form the initial visible layer of the platform

This phase establishes quality and density before broader expansion.

Is Site & Capital free?

Site & Capital is a paid membership directory.

Details of pricing and membership tiers are available on the Pricing page.

What happens after the Founding phase?

Following the founding phase, Site & Capital will open more broadly to organisations across the development ecosystem.

The aim is to build a well-structured platform where:

• each role within the development process is clearly represented

• companies can be easily discovered and compared

• the network of organisations behind development projects becomes more visible

As the platform grows, maintaining clarity and structure will remain central to how Site & Capital evolves.

How do connections work?

Profiles include direct contact details.

There is no internal messaging system and no gatekeeping.

Conversations happen directly between members.

Does Site & Capital arrange deals or provide advice?

No.

Site & Capital is a directory, not a brokerage or advisory service.

All connections and decisions are made directly between parties.

How is my profile created?

For the Founding cohort and Enhanced listings, profiles are created for you by the Site & Capital team.

Using the information and materials you provide — such as company details, project examples and imagery — we structure your profile so your focus, expertise and typical opportunities are clearly presented.

For standard listings, organisations will complete their own profiles through the platform, following the same structured format.

This ensures profiles across Site & Capital remain consistent, easy to explore and simple to compare.

How will people find my profile?

Profiles are organised by sector and presented in a structured format that makes it easy for visitors to explore the organisations involved in the development process.

As the platform grows, this structure will allow users to quickly discover companies based on their role, expertise and typical project involvement.

The aim is to make it easier for the right organisations to find each other — even when they aren’t already connected.

How do people get in touch?

Each profile includes clear contact details so visitors can reach out directly.

Site & Capital is designed to help people identify organisations aligned with their projects or expertise, after which conversations and relationships can develop directly between companies.

Will my competitors also be listed?

Yes. Site & Capital reflects the wider development ecosystem, so organisations operating in similar sectors will often appear alongside one another.

This allows visitors to explore the landscape of companies involved in development and identify those most aligned with their opportunities.

Being visible within that ecosystem helps ensure your organisation can be discovered by people who may not already be within your existing network.

Does Site & Capital endorse the companies listed?

No. Site & Capital provides a platform for organisations involved in the property development process to present their role, focus and experience.

While profiles are reviewed to ensure they follow the platform’s structure and format, inclusion does not represent an endorsement or recommendation.

Visitors should make their own enquiries when deciding whether to work with a particular organisation.

How do I cancel my membership?

Membership renews annually. If you wish to cancel, you can request cancellation before the end of your current membership term.

Your profile will remain visible on Site & Capital until the end of that term, after which it will be removed from the platform.

If you decide to return in the future, you’re welcome to create a new profile.
